Caribou Plans Massive Fall Tour, Single Release
With the August 21 release of Andorra on Merge, Dan Snaith (aka Caribou) has found the perfect season to match the album's sunny psychedelia (achieved through many hours of trampoline lessons).
To tide us over until late summer, Snaith will release the "Melody Day" single digitally and on CD single in North America via Merge on July 10 (digitally and on 7" via City Slang elsewhere on July 31).
The single features a remix of the track by Four Tet and artwork by Jason Evans.
Born Ruffians' Luke LaLonde is also featured on the remix, and his band will open for Caribou on his forthcoming tour of North America this fall. Unfortunately, this means the people of Andorra will be left out, but there is a stop in Manitoba.
Caribou's next show is in Hyères, France on July 29.
"Melody Day" tracklist:

02 Melody Day (Four Tet remix) [ft. Luke LaLonde, Adem and One Little Plane]
