No Age's Randall Forms Group With No Age Cover Band
Among their many musical dabblings, Foot Village's Josh Taylor and noise DJ Kyle Mabson have found the time to form a living tribute to one of their hometown's highest profile acts: No Age. That's right, apparently there's a No Age tribute band called New No Age.
When Randy Randall from (Old) No Age caught wind of New No Age, he was so stoked, he joined the band. Eventually, the three started writing new material together. Now calling themselves Cockpit, they'll perform their debut show tonight (June 16) at L.A.'s Pehrspace as part of Taylor and Mabson's monthlong Monday night side project showcase.
Cool as that is, we'll take our Old No Age where we can get 'em, and just about every place we know of--including their stop at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago next month-- is listed after the jump.
