Death Rides A Pale Cow:

Dead Milkmen:
Death Rides A Pale Cow:

[Restless]
Rating: 7.5
Depending on who you ask, the Dead Milkmen are some of the most respected punks on the planet. If you ever had a weird friend growing up (and especially if you happen to be that weird friend), you not only know most of these songs by heart, but have some sentimental attachment to them, too. Only thing is, you probably don't want seven of their CDs hanging around your collection.

Welcome to 1997. These guys have pretty much come and gone, and this disc compiles every last Milkmen song you know by heart. Over 23 tracks, it runs over their years with Restless Records (the only good ones, for those of you keeping score), leaving nothing out. You've got your "Bitchin' Camaro," "Stuart," "If You Love Someone Set Them On Fire," "Beach Party Vietnam," and even a couple of previously unreleased tracks.

I know what you're thinking. "Hey, man. Isn't it a little uncool to like the Dead Milkmen now?" And uncool is what you make it, friend. Don't tell me you don't remember the words to "Punk Rock Girl."
