Heavy Metal. Still reading? Okay here it is. If you've heard either of the past two Korn releases, and actually liked them (they scared me so much, I had to bury them in my backyard), you'll definitely want to run out and plunk your mean-ass dollar down on Around The Fur. It's filled with harsh, bleeding-callous guitar coupled with explosive bass and distorto-skreem vocals clearly reminiscent of Korn, all on top of bass-pedal-pumping drums. Where Around The Fur differs from Korn is in the songs: they don't tend to have that stop-beat dynamic, each song tending to be more of a singular shraaaang-ka-dunk-kang from start to finish. Nor do the vocals have that "I can almost feel the spit coming out of my speakers" venom, but I see that as a good thing. They're intense, harsh tunes, but I think I can sleep with this disc looking at me. I hope.

By the way, if it's not hard enough for you, please don't kill me.
