Don't know much about the New Hampshire orchestral disco scene, but I'll take a stab and say Kelley Polar's anomalous. With Maxwell Zeugner paving double bass beneath Polar's Revenge of the Nerds viola, the song's Liquid Liquid handclapping backslaps a Milky-Way groove that daydreams Was (Not Was) at the Trenton Planetarium. Someone should test-drive this during the Roxy's Wednesday night roller skating parties. If I were the DJ, I'd drop it between "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" and "Let's Go Swimming."
