While his Postal Service work earned him a Hulk Hogan-sized appreciation in emo circles, his true calling lies in Dntel's devilish Hollywood Hogan electro-glitch heel. Problem is, persona-hopping's getting harder these days for Tamborello, especially with this pesky James Figurine alter-ego throwing a wrench in the schizo mess. Hoping to trip those Dntel wires, Life Is Full of Possibilities guest star Mia Doi Todd drops in on "Rock My Boat", a sexy faux-Morcheeba track that does mouth-to-mouth but can't quite resuscitate. "Everything's Tricks", on the other hand, enters on a rumbling techno march, reintroducing Dntel like an action sequel's returning villain. No more tenderized IDM to scrawl your sappy poetry to, just a desolate soundscape with looped vocals as the only signs of human life.
