Luna to Embark on Final North American Tour
If there's one thing we learned from The X-Files before it started to suck, it's that everything dies. And if we learned one thing from it after it started to suck, it's that this isn't always bad news. Last fall, Dean Wareham revealed himself as an adherent of this philosophy when he declared that Luna would break up early in 2005, telling Pitchfork, "We've been around a long time, and I think it's different in your 20s than when you hit 40. In your 20, you don't have a care in the world, and you're out there sleeping on someone's floor, but you're like, 'Hey, isn't this great!'"
But Luna haven't quite left the building yet. Rather, they've jumped on the farewell tour bandwagon and are planning a fair amount of travel for their final two months together. After a week in Spain and a show in London, they're coming back to the U.S. to tour the south and west, ending with two final nights in New York City. Awww... Dates:
