M83's Second Album in Stores Today
Frontman Anthony Gonzalez has also launched an M83 online radio service to coincide with the album's release, which will feature a long playlist of his favorite tracks for-- get this-- free! You know what that means? More money for ice cream sandwiches. Talking to XFM, Gonzalez said of the site, "This web radio is an opportunity for me to share my musical tastes and make people who feel M83's music (or simply the curious ones) discover the songs that moved me back in the days and those that move me now."
He continued: "I'll regularly update it with new songs. It is also the occasion for those who are not yet familiar with M83 to learn a little more about this project and be the first to discover the tracks from the new album and the forthcoming singles. Or it's just a rather cool way to listen to some fucking great music for free on your computer." Uh, pardon his French.
