Dizzee Rascal Schedules American Shows

Given a choice, most people probably prefer visiting Texas to being stabbed. But Dizzee Rascal's young life, so far, has contained roughly equal amounts of both. With an eye toward the integrity of his internal organs, however, he will soon correct the balance.

Despite releasing two albums in less than a year in America (they were spaced farther apart in England, where Boy In Da Corner came out in July 2003), Dizzee hasn't given the U.S. much face time. This April, he's embarking on a U.S. jaunt that will distract him from various outside activities such as managing his label-- Dirtee Stank Records-- and designing a shoe for Nike, known as the Nike Dirtee Stank 180. Do we smell? Is that what you're trying to tell us, Dizzee, that we smell? The nerve of some people.
