Coldplay Announce Intimate U.S. Gigs
The tour will be in support of their upcoming album, X&Y, which will be released on June 6 in Europe and June 7 in North America. The "Clocks"-esque single, "Speed of Sound", has already hit the airwaves.
The intimate shows include stops in Chicago and San Francisco, at smaller venues that Coldplay could probably sell out for a week if they so desired. Meanwhile, the supporting acts in Europe include Interpol, Supergrass, Elbow, and Doves.
