White Stripes to Tour Eastern Europe
The 13-song album was written entirely on piano, acoustic guitar, and marimba and recorded in the duo's hometown at White's Third Man Studios. All tracks were written, produced, and mixed by Mr. White, who has described the record as an exploration of "characters and the ideal truth." Except less like a ninth-grade English class than that sounds, right, Jack? Jack?
Anyway, the tracks:
01 Blue Orchid
02 The Nurse
03 My Doorbell
04 Forever For Her (Is Over For Me)
05 Little Ghost
06 The Denial Twist
07 White Moon
08 Instinct Blues
09 Passive Manipulation
10 Take, Take, Take
11 As Ugly As I Seem
12 Red Rain
13 I'm Lonely (But I Ain't That Lonely Yet)
They begin their travels this month in Central and South America, to be followed by a performance at the Music Midtown Festival in Atlanta and at the Glastonbury Festival in England-- and then that's it for confirmed Anglophone dates at the moment, though they may be back in the U.S. later in the summer.
