Mogwai Add More U.S. Dates
Distinguished Scotsmen Mogwai will follow that same plan later this spring. After their April 30 Coachella appearance, the band will take a few days off to restring guitars and realign their chakras before turning back around and leveling the States with an additional series of tour dates. Gotta get the chakra aligned if you're going on a multi-state stomp; it's how G-Zilla is able to keep coming back after 50 years.
(Side note: Why isn't there a rapper named G-Zilla yet?)
Antsy Mog-watchers can keep tabs on the band through the website Follow the Beast (named in honor of their latest album, Mr. Beast. It's a crazy tech mash-up of Google mappage, Flickr image, and YouTube, um, YouTubeage that documents Mogwai's every move on their current U.S. tour. Send them your media from a Mogwai show and they'll use it on the site. It's kind of like shooting and uploading fuzzy cameraphone pics of Bigfoot except we're pretty sure Mogwai are real.
