Video: The Cure: "Sleep When I'm Dead"
"Up, sluggard, and waste not life; in the grave will be sleeping enough." When Benjamin Franklin put those words into his Poor Richard's Almanack in the 18th century he had no way of knowing that he would one day inspire a song by Robert Smith of the Cure (not to mention Warren Zevon). But if he had known that, I'll bet he would have been pretty excited. The Cure is on their third single in this "release a single per month" deal, and this one comes with a new performance clip video. (via Stereogum)
