New Music: The Knife: "Marble House (davidandrewsitek's KNIFEHORSE Remix)"
Wow, touring with Nine Inch Nails sure rubbed off on David Sitek. The TV on the Radio member/producer has somehow made the Knife's "Marble House" even more goth than it was before. Removing the Silent Shout track's libidinal pulse and replacing it with cavernous menace courtesy of live drums and ghostly layers of keyboards, Sitek turns the duet between Karin Dreijer Andersson and Jay-Jay Johanson into a dance of death. Haunted house, indeed.
