Video: Ghosthustler: "Parking Lot Nights"
Finally, no more late night nights struggling for the right adjective for "has synths and you can dance to it". In the new video for Ghosthustler's "Parking Lot Nights", director Pete Ohs comes up with the perfect visual metaphor for the current batch of 80s-nostalgic electro-funk...the Nintendo Power Glove. The Denton, Texas-based duo sing out from an NES-era TV set, insisting they need a fucking break. And apparently they do: Their "Parking Lot Nights" seemingly consist of walking around parking lots, punching and/or zapping strangers as if breakdancers or smiling young women were Glass Joe and this was Mike Tyson's Punch Out!!. Fine, the rest of you can keep your stupid Wiis. Thanks to Gorilla vs. Bear for the tip.
