"Hold Music"

Video: Architecture in Helsinki: "Hold Music"

Architecture in Helsinki's newest, Places Like This, hasn't even arrived yet, but the Australians are already unveiling the album's second video. After the Muppets-like feel of the footage for single "Heart It Races", the new clip for "Hold Music" keeps the group in brightly-colored garb, this time bouncing around wearing outfits that vaguely resemble small parachutes. The vocals, however, are more Muppet-like than before. Goofy falsetto and childlike shouts reach out over a bouncy, uptempo track with horns, synths, and B-52s quirks. The Aussies are all smiles as they sing about outer space and repeat, "Give it to me"-- more dance instruction than come-on. And no need to bring your jukebox money.
