Mice Parade Plan EP, LP, Tour
Dude's got a work ethic: with two Mice Parade releases scheduled to be released within a month of each other, the more-or-less one man outfit of Adam Pierce has announced a run of tour dates to kick off the merry month of May. Nights Wave EP will be released on March 22, followed by the full-length Bem-Vinda Vontade on April 19, both on Bubble Core Records. Further propagating the myth that Mouse on Mars and Mice Parade are aligned in more than name alone, Bubble Core promises that Bem-Vinda Vontade will be yet another unique entry in Mice Parade's discography (see Radical Connector's similar uniqueness).
To further sweeten the pot, Cincinnati's own supa-indie producer Boom Bip will accompany Mice Parade for most of the tour. You may recall Boom Bip just released his latest, Blue Eyed in the Red Room, last week, and though Gruff Rhys did in fact lend his vocals to that record, this tour figures to be heavy on the unclassifiable IDM, rather than Welsh post-modern pop. Or so we'd have you think. Dance if you dare:
