Music for Robots to Release Compilation

Critically acclaimed music blog music.for-robots.com recently announced the May 27 release of their first venture into the compilation world, music for robots: vol. 1. The 19-track collection features new, unreleased music from several artists already familiar with MFR's audience, and a few new bands as well. "We're all about sharing good music with people, and putting out a CD is just another cool way to do that," founding Robot Mark Willet said of the website's intentions. The monster tracklist:

In celebration of the new CD, a release party is being held at the Knitting Factory in NYC on May 26, with live performances from MFR favorites El Ten Eleven, Hysterics, Stiffed, Seems So Bright, Shush Shush, the Bluffs, and the Subjects. The CD will be on sale at the show, and available on music.for-robots.com the following day.
