Saturday Looks Good to Me Collect Rarities

Things are about to get rocky for those whose yearly earnings are fueled entirely by sales of limited edition Saturday Looks Good to Me EPs and singles.

On Tuesday, April 11, the Michigan popists will release Sound to Sound via Redder Records. It's a 30-song album collecting some of the band's rarer material chronologically from 2000-2005. Over the course of the record, five different vocalists from five different eras will show their stuff, performing the music and lyrics of SLGTM songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Fred Thomas. Included are covers of the Ramones' "Listen to My Heart", Arnold Goland and Gian Sciandra's "Learn to Live with Your Heartbreaks" (from the Valley of the Dolls soundtrack), and "Blue Christmas", as well as a variety of other tracks that are oh-so-perfect for the increasingly warm weather.
