Video: Justice vs Simian: We Are Your Friends

Vice Records electro up-and-comers Justice clash with British psych-pop band Simian, heavily sampling the title track from the latter's "We Are Your Friends" LP to create what NME has called, with stereotypically sensationalist zeal, "The Indestructable Indie Dancefloor Anthem" and "probably one of the best songs ever." Keeping in mind that's a label they love to go around slapping on everything (even Kasabian, I'm afraid), it *is* a pretty great track-- and if not necessarily "indestructible," then close.

First released in 2003 on Ed Banger Records, the label run by Daft Punk manager Pedro Winter, it was re-released in 2004 on the International DJ Gigolo label, at which point it became a massive UK club hit spun by everyone from Paul Epworth and Erol Alkan to Tiga and Jacques Lu Cont. And now it's back for another round, in video form, to celebrate the single's official July release on Virgin subsidiary Ten Records. Enjoy it while you can-- it could be totally unavoidable by fall.
