To pay tribute to late Ladybug Transistor drummer San Fadyl-- a man LT frontman Gary Olson called "one of the kindest, most generous, warmest people I have ever known"-- Olson and band will host a special concert in San's memory. San passed away on April 26 of this year at his home in Zurich, Switzerland.

Billed as "A special night to remember San Fadyl of The Ladybug Transistor", the event will feature performances from Ladybug, Pipas, Sasha Bell (The Essex Green), Amy Linton (The Aislers Set), Joe McGinty (Baby Steps), Gary Thomas (Individual Fruit Pie), and Ed Rogers (Bedsit Poets), with more acts to be announced.

The gig goes down June 5 at Brooklyn's Sound Fix record shop, with all proceeds directed to San's widow Brigit and son Liam.

June 5 also marks the Merge release of the previously reported new album from the Ladybug Transistor, Can't Wait Another Day, which features contributions from Jens Lekman and members of the Clientele, Architecture in Helsinki, the Aislers Set, and more.
