British outsider folkie Bert Jansch will sprinkle his acoustic goodness across a precious few U.S. cities on a short tour starting tomorrow night (June 2) in Providence. These are the rejuvenated Jansch's first U.S. dates since his jaunt last fall in support of 2006 album The Black Swan.

The songwriter also has two shows scheduled in England in mid-July, both of which will include guest appearances by Beth Orton (who also guests on Black Swan) and ex-Suede shredder Bernard Butler.
