Daft Punk, Shins, Battles, QOTSA Do Vegoose
Ditto Stooges, Ghostface, Blonde Redhead, Rage Against the Machine, Pharoahe Monch
Vegoose, the now-annual Sin City music fest with the oddly orinthological name, will host one heck of a lineup for its third incarnation October 27-28 at Sam Boyd Stadium. Regular awesomeness from Daft Punk, the Shins, Queens of the Stone
Age, Ghostface Killah (and the Rhythm Roots Allstars), Battles, Blonde
Redhead, Public Enemy, Rage Against the Machine, Pharoahe Monch, Muse,
Cypress Hill, Thievery Corporation, UNKLE, and Ghostland Observatory will rule the day, sure. But of particular note are the Stooges, who'll attempt a run through their stone classic Fun House in its entirety. There's a glut of jam bands on hand, too, but twelve-minute guitar solos were made for a quick game of Keno at a nearby casino. In addition, the Shins will be playing the Joint-- a venue within the Hard Rock Hotel-- on October 28, as part of the separately-ticketed "Vegoose at Night" series. Vegoose is brought to you by the same people who do Bonnaroo, so they know from silly festival names.
