Fuck Buttons, Matmos, Why?, Pole Play Venn Festival

Plus: Philip Jeck, Sunburned Hand of the Man, Wildbirds & Peacedrums, Black Devil Disco Club
Fuck Buttons, Matmos, Why?, Pole Play Venn Festival The fifth annual Venn Festival-- circling the area around Bristol, England June 5-8-- seems just as proud of the eclectism of its bill as the unorthodox nature of the venues at which it takes place. And, true, both are definitely worth noting: that's why we're here, after all.

Joining this year's Venn Festival are the likes of Fuck Buttons, Why?, Matmos, Pole, Sunburned Hand of the Man, Philip Jeck, Black Devil Disco Club, Infinite Livez vs. Stade, Afrikan Boy, the Heliocentrics, Skeletons and the Kings of All Cities, Wildbirds & Peacedrums, Flying Lotus, Hauschka, and many, many others.

And among the potential spots you may just catch some of those fine, far-flung artists? "Planetariums, scout huts, skate parks, and other mischievously appropriated spots around the city." So, then, nice fest, if you can find it.
