I Like To Score

Moby:
I Like To Score

[Elektra]
Rating: 8.6
There are two kinds of people when it comes down to Moby's 1995 debut, Everything Is Wrong. Those that loved his intense dance beats, and those that loved his more delicate, ambient work on the album. If you haven't heard it, you suck. If you haven't decided yet, I Like To Score's got your name on it.

It's got a couple of phat-jammin' dance tracks on it like Moby's perennial "Go," and the "Bond Theme" is addictive. They're balanced out quite well with "God Moving Over The Face of The Waters" (which also appeared on Everything Is Wrong) and a few other mellow, slightly-hyped ambient tracks. It's a solid album that belongs in your shopping bag if you thought everyone was full of shit in '95. If you still need an intro to techno, let Moby be your doorman. After all, he's got no hair.
